Welcome to Y4OBH, where we are committed to providing information and training to support you and your yoga practice.

Originally certified in an Iyengar informed yoga teacher training, additional yoga training over the years influences my approach to teaching yoga that emphasizes knowledgeable and embodied movement, linked with intentional breath. Practicing yoga in this way benefits most people and has a subtle, yet significant impact on how we experience the world.

In 2008 I started the Universal Design Yoga (UDY) program at the University at Buffalo (UB), which continued until spring 2020 when it was discontinued due to COVID. The UDY program provided all students access to yoga designed for physical access and supporting emotional health and well being.

My background and experience as a C-IAYT, with certification in Yoga for Bone Health, and influenced by my original training as an Occupational Therapist (OTR) with a Ph.D. in Rehabilitation Science supports and informs my yoga practice and teaching.

This work is dedicated to the many teachers who have supported me along the way. A special thank you to Christine Toner and Lauren Nostro for helping Y4OBH come to life.
